Dr Ian Senkatuka has professional work experience since 1994 as an architect, planner, and project manager, and as a lecturer/researcher. He has a PHD from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) Stockholm Sweden and Makerere University Uganda (Joint degree) with a focus on Urban Infrastructure Management, a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from University of Sydney, Australia, a Master’s degree in Project Planning and Management from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Makerere University, Uganda. He has acquired further project management qualifications and is a PRINCE 2 registered practitioner. He is and has been on a number of national Boards that include the Architects registration Board and the National physical planning board that he currently chairs.

He has worked as a consultant in Uganda and internationally in other countries within Africa.He has worked on a number of projects that include; commercial projects, housing projects, health projects, education projects, building refurbishments and other projects.
